Frosty Moon Midwest Summit
We are thrilled to announce the first ever Frosty Moon Midwest Summit presented by Hidden Relic Productions, TheHippieSeed.com, and Emens Auditorium. The Midwest Summit is set for November 13th, 2010 and will be held at Emens Auditorium on the campus of Ball State University in Muncie, IN. Frosty Moon will showcase some of the Midwest's most talented musicians, spanning various genres from bluegrass-newgrass to jazz-funk-fusion, over the course of two days._____________________________________________________

The Frosty Moon Midwest Summit will feature Michigan's own Ultraviolet Hippopotamus, Indy's premiere "Face Melting Funk Band" The Twin Cats, the always fresh and funky Midwest Hype, ambient folk rockers The Waldemere Revival, interstellar jammers Catch Curtis with Mikial Robertson, a psychedelic bluegrass group called The New Old Cavalry, folk rocking bluegrassers King Mountain, and the newest additions SixDollarSuit & Megan Maudlin.Click Here to view the schedule!

Frosty Moon is a general admission all-ages event. Ticket prices are $7 for Ball State students & $10 for non-students. Get your tickets at Emens Auditorium Box Office or through Ticketmaster today! Vendors & Frosty Moon Merchandise will be on hand.Signature Inn of Muncie is offering a special rate of $64.95/night. Call (765) 284-4200 to make reservations.

In case you wondered...
A Frosty Moon is the name for the full moon that takes place in November. It gets its name from northern autumnal ground frost, which glistens beautifully in pale moonlight. Full Moon names date back to Native Americans and were used to help kept track of the seasons by giving distinctive names to each recurring full Moon.
